Registration — every dental professional in the UK must be registered with the GDC, and England practices must be CQC-registered; directory cards show a badge when we have the CQC location ID, and profiles link to the official registers.

Local or online — filter by type, or use “Online only” for remote consultation and at-home aligner providers with no walk-in surgery. See Online Dental Providers.

NHS vs private — NHS activity and new-patient acceptance are separate. A dated acceptance confirmation is shown only where available. NHS availability changes often — check the practice or the NHS website for current new-patient status. Same-name groups are distinguished by city and postcode on each card.

Near me & hours — enter a UK postcode to sort by approximate distance (postcode locations). Open late / Saturday filters only match practices with opening hours on file — we never invent hours.

Claimed vs unclaimed — “Claimed” requires recorded ownership verification. A website, email or paid listing alone does not establish ownership; a practice can request verification free.

Private treatment prices shown are indicative — always confirm directly with the practice. NHS dental charges are set nationally (Band 1 £27.90, Band 2 £76.60, Band 3 £332.10 in England for 2026/27) and never vary by practice. “Not yet rated” means we have no verified reviews — we never invent scores.
